Magnetic Watches Kick Ass.
I don't like to feel silly. Most people don't too, or maybe they don't mind. But anyway that's not the point. I was wearing my expensive watch ($3.95 fr Toys 'R' Us!) thingy today, and it's magnetic. And so, I was talkin to someone and walking along, when i brushed my hair outta my face. and my hand got stuck! Haha, I paused and thought okkkkk, this is gay why is my hand stuck stupidly to my ear? My initial thought(after this looks stupid) was that my Baby G with the spoilt buckle caught on my earrings. And then I realized it was cause my earrings are metal! -_-
I had a good day today, pleasant and enjoyable. Whee. Feeling happyyy (:

Valentine's Day
Helloo peeps.
I had a good time last Friday in school cause we were celebrating Valentine's Day. The atmosphere was cheery and there was music and exchange of small gifts and notes etc. Wanna say the class guys are so sweet! They wrote a note, sang a song(with actions!) and bought us all roses (even though the guy to girl ratio is 1:5). Haha, was really entertaining and super nice of them. And my big brother who bought me a small bouquet of pretty flowers, appreciate it (:. All in all, thank you friends.
Arts night on monday(16/2) was good too. Laughed along and at(haha, it wasn't really his fault cause it was last minute filling-in, but there were also some amusing clumsy stuff like pulling out his cable and dropping his slipper). Tang and I thought jia yi had sth up her sleeve, but it turned out she didn't after all. Falsely accused eh choo? Haha.
Anyway, I was thinking, we all have an impact on ppl around us, so why not make it a good one? Like if we can choose to say sth to cheer someone up or make them moody, why make them sad? Like seriously. There was this email circulated last time.
Summary goes: A nerdy boy was always getting bullied in school. This cool girl knocked into him when he was carrying lotsa books and befriended him even though he was like a loser or sth. Then a few years on, he graduated with some honours or won an award?, and he had to give a speech. And during it, he thanked her for being such a great friend, because he had actually been planning to commit suicide so he had cleared out his locker so his mumma wouldn't have to do it. I missed out lotsa stuff, but you get the gist. Soo, you see! We really really make a huge impact. Let's be nice to each other, even when we don't feel like it, or maybe ESPECIALLY when we don't feel like it (:. Never underestimate the power of words!

It's funny how when you dislike someone, you hate everything about them and everything they do. You can pick on the most minute of faults or nonexistent ones sometimes, and that can feel rather unfair, like taking the blame for something you didn't do. And then when the person you like does exactly the same thing, it's somehow likable. I dunno.
Anyway, holiday was good.

Low
I know I haven't posted in a while. But the reason is that I didn't wanna post after Jia Yi's funny post! haha. Anything after that would just seem boring. And then there were times i wanted to emo, but thought that no one would wanna read emo-ing, lol. Anyway, it's my blog so I can do what i want! er shared with hei that is.
Anyway, I was doing the facebook "Compare People" thing, where they ask u a qu and compare 2 people. The question was "Who has a better hairstyle?". So one friend and then this other guy who was bald! lol.
And another question was who would you rather marry?
Marcus LOW Vs. Stranger
Guesss...
I chose the stranger!
Haha.
Below is a clippet of the very intelligent and witty( after all, it's me we're talking about here) conversation I had with Marcus loW.
marcus says:
sconers suck!
marcus says:
alliteration!
§¤*°I'm ÅmAnDå from SiLlY LåNd°*¤§♥ God sees the heart, not the talent or skill. says:
smarcus sucks!

Sorry if this is below expectations, but I don't want pressureee, don't pressure mee. Jia Yi knows she's welcome to post here so you have to sit tight if you want her to post.

Stand up
Alright, arrived some seconds too late at school and had to stand outside the hall (with Shun and Eq) for almost half an hour. Had a brief hiatus from standing that lasted less than a minute before I was standing. Again. For over an hour cause I didn't bring my Chinese book. 10 people brought and 7 didn't. Lol. The teacher gave us chances to sit down by asking questions periodically, but because of my um.... great proficiency in the Chinese language it wasn't particularly useful. I must say it was the first time I've been so awake during 1h2omins Chinese lesson. She also called me 恩爱, lol, that's not my name.

Out of Titles
Mm, soo today went for lunch for Eq's birthday with the section. And then during co, Ken and I played the slapping hand thing. Both our hands turned uber red, lol. And my left hand blood vessels burst or sth, coz like 4 hrs later it still looks weird, speckled or sth. Alright, it was kinda fun in comparison to practice.
To my friend knocked out with food poisoning, get well soon! whee.
Just watched Hugh Jackman on punk'd, ahhh, his expression is priceless, lol.
Congrats to J. Cho on vice-captaincy!

Inner Ghosts
The air was chilly and the ground was wet. At 11pm, a girl was found walking alone on her way back home. She had missed her busstop while she was distracted by the "1 New Message" beeping of her phone. Cursing silently, she started to drag her weary legs down the path. A new beeping sound signalled a new incoming message. She opened it and read, 'Remember that horror show? Be careful!' Immediately, shivers ran down her spine and she cursed the sender of that mail with every colourful language possible in the dictionary.
Suddenly, everything became eery. The orange glow of the streetlamps seemed to cast dubious shadows on the ground. While the temperature seemed to fall ten folds. Feeling slightly scared, the girl immediately put on her earphones and blasted music in her ears. This seemed to help but it did not fully cast away the fear in her.
Upon reaching the lobby of her house, the girl spotted a shadow. It was as though cold holds gripped her heart as she felt her hairs stand. Taking a closer look, she could see a figure of a man. Random thoughts started to run through her mind, "Is he a neighbour? A trespasser? Or maybe a ghost?" Taking bigger steps, she quickly entered her lift and started jabbing the 'close' button.
Just as the door started to close, the man appeared in front of the lift. Though startled, the girl kept her composure, at least on the exterior, and opened the lift doors to prevent it from slamming into the man. The old man gave a soft smile and quietly pressed "floor 6" and stood in the far corner of the lift.
The girl left the lift first and heaved a sigh of relief. With a few more steps, she would be safely back home.

Before I became a blog owner( or a co-blog owner as lukas keeps telling me it's not my blog simply because i SHARE it, gee), I was unable to understand why they posted so infrequently, and when they did, it was often vague. But now I totally understand, I guess there's no better way to fully comprehend something than going through the actual experience itself. Which might also be why God allows suffering in our life, so we can comfort fellow sufferers around us! whee.
On thu hung out in school to do work with heidy, then luke joined us afterwards. Haha, heidy was fun cause we haven't been hanging much. It was very productive indeed.
On Fri had pw meeting and michael came over first to play drums. ah, wouldn't it be nice if i played like him. All the best for your exam tuesday!
On sat, went kap after co and the peeps insisted i took drugs or sth. apparently im wackier after co, which i doubt, I dont really see any connection. I did laugh a bit. And say that A for Amanda was also A for axcellent and axceptional. shrug.
I spent the whole of today reading a so-so storybook. I realized that a book doesn't have to be really great to get me hooked on it. It's only after it ends and when I think back, that I realize heyyyy, the book wasn't that good after all.
Oh and one more addition to the "Complete idiot's guide to heidy".
She gets a uber bad headache when her long fringe obscures her vision and irritates her. Lol.

VIOLENT, BLOODY MOVIE
today i went with some people to watch death race. btw, i met many many people at cineleisure. its like the whole world was there. it was nice(: i met, HwaXiong[saw JohmPaul with him] with his sji friends, yeongchuan who was with his fairfield friends, elian the loner and random pop-up-from-nowhere, Hani, a few more fellow ex-crescentians, stella, richard. haha that's all i can think of for now. oh and cynthia at plaza sing haha.
anyway we wnet to watch death race and it was really violent and bloody. WARNING: SPOILERS TO A CERTAIN EXTENT[THE VIOLENT PARTS].
so its basically about America having a really bad recession and prisoners in a prison have to race the 'death race' and the reward is to be released from jail. the real reason for the race is so that alot of people will watch it and America can earn alot of money. something like that. so the mastermind like try to kill everybody in the race so that no one can win and alot of people will watch it(:
theres this part where the mastermind sent a huge truck to destroy the cars racing and the wheels had spikes which rotates. it went near a car and the spikes drilled though the passenger door and a woman who was sitting in the passenger seat was like grinded and drilled through the side by the spikes. slowly and agonisingly and you can hear the 'SQUELCH SQUELCH' sound as it rotated through the woman.
another one was when a car crashed and the driver crawled out of the car. he sort of yelled 'can't kill me' or something and a car sped past him and knocked his head off. his head was smashed like an egg and basically blood splattered everywhere and no one cared.
one more for now. part of the rules of the game was that a picture of a skull will light up at various areas of the track and when a car drives over it, a spike-like thing will jut out of the ground and the car will crash into it. so a car pushed another car onto the skull and it crashed into the spike. if the driver wasnt skewered by the spike, he shouldn't be too happy yet because the spike-like thing descended back into the gound and crushes the car, compacting it into the ground, therefore flattening whatever is in the car. no escape.
so.... wanna watch the movie kids?=D

I survived a horror show.
teacher's day today! Finally met jingyi and bumped into fel near cathay. Fel was MUGGING. O_O. It was a shock. Lunch was reaaally good we ate so much sushi *yumyum* and walked around looking for stuff to buy. We should meet up again soon!! Since you feel so bad for forgetting to pay me, I shall remind you here that.... Jingyi owes me 10 bucks!
Had a class movie outing too cuz there were free tickets. BUT the thing is, we were going to watch 4bia. A HORROR MOVIE. Today, I watched my first horror movie in the cinemas. And hopefully, it'll be my last for this year too.
The movie was made up of 4 separate stories. The second story was DAMN FREAKY. I covered my eyes and ears for 3/4 of that story. By the time the last movie showed, I was dying. Just before the climax of the last story came on, me and Caiyi couldn't take it anymore and ran out of the the theatre. It was a good thing too because 1 minute later, all we could hear were screams. The staff out there were laughing at us but for the sake of getting away from that horror scenes, dignity can be cast away and shreded to pieces. After calming our hearts down, we went back in and stood at the back of the theatre. It got too scary so we took a step back and out of the doors. Like they say, curiosity kills the cat. We wanted to know the ending, so we had to go back in anyway eventually. For the last few minutes, we stood at the back of the theatre, covering our eyes and ears and "watched" the rest of the movie. Before anyone starts calling us a wimp, I think I was pretty brave for lifting my head for 5 seconds, enough to see the ghost vomitting all over the place and crawling towards the camera.
Decided to head back home while the sun was still up cuz i would be going home alone. Because SOMEONE happily volunteered to sacrifice himself due to the lack of tickets. I am sure ___ was sad to sacrifice him/herself and would've rather suffered through a scary movie with the rest of us. -_- I shall not reveal the identity of a certain rugger who happens to live in pine grove and shares the same name as our math h.o.d. When I reached home, it was EMPTY. Everyone had gone out. I was bloody scared. In the end, I went online and started talking to as many people as i could. Stupid chris, sent me this link and asked me to turn up the volume. It turns out to be this image that pops up and gives this horrifying scream. I was jumped in my seat (bumped against the table) gave a scream and ran away(bumped against the table and sofa). Just when I thought it was over, the bloody thing screamed again and somehow I got so freaked out I screamed with it. Luckily my neighbours didn't come to check on me. So paiseh. Ended up calling various people to talk to just to pass off time and make sure I survive the lonely period.
Thanks to... Caiyi for letting me grab onto you throughout the movie.
Peizhen and Janson for walking me to the busstop
Amanda,Jingyi,Elian,Chris(not really but i'll just mention u),Marli,Jane,Rachel,Zhenliang,Kay for keeping me occupied till my parents came home.
I must as well include the unidentified person for offering to accompany me home though the offer came 3 hours late.
Please slap me if I ever suggest watching a horror show in future.

Wicked
Everyone in school was talking about the man who had recently broken out of prison and had attacked two guards during his escape, fracturing one's skull with a heavy object and had beaten the other senseless. That night, police cars were all over the streets searching for the vicious and unpredictable criminal. The following day, the news pf the criminal's escape was broadcasted over the radio, television as well as printed on the front page of the local newspaper and everyone was on the lookout for him. I sat in the school canteen, painfully aware of the topic of everyone's discussion and chose to ignore it.
I was the only child in the family and as far as I knew, I had no father, or at least that was what my mother had told me. Somehow, I knew that whoever my father was, he had hurt my mother badly. I could see the pain and tears in her eyes whenever I had asked about my father. Soon, I stopped asking these questions and the man who was my father completely faded from our lives.
However, I would occasionally dream about a shadowy figure in the intense, bright light calling out my name and I would wake up wondering about my father(HAHA!! omg!)
It had been four days since the escape of the dangerous offender and the atmosphere was tense and alert. With the offender still at large, many parents had complained that school was no longer safe and requested for children to stay at home. I strolled into the classroom, dumped my bag on the desk and gazed blearily out of the window at the school grounds. There was a man, dressed in black, wearing a pair of huge sunglasses bigenough to cover his whole face and had the beginnings of a beard. He was standing in the shadows of a building seemingly waiting for someone and would not be noticed unless someone knew where to look. It was pure luck that I had spotted him. I observed the strange man for a few minutes and grew bored of it before turning my attention to my friend who had just entered the classroom.
In the next few days, I noticed the odd man around the school who was jittery and frequently checked if he was seen or followed. However, by now, many students had already grown suspicious of the man in black and walked in close groups. Returning to the classroom from the toilet, I glimpsed a dark figure disappearing round the corner from the empty classroom and sure enough, a wallet belonging to a student in the classroom was reported missing. In that instant, I knew what i should have done long ago. I stepped into the office and reported to a teacher that I had seen a stranger loitering around the school and suspected that it was him who had stolen the wallet.
With the whole staff out in the school compound searching for the mysterious man, it was certainly no surprise that he was found in no time at all. In the past few days, I had been quietly observing him and was curious, thus I wanted ti be there when the stranger was captured. Caught between the school's two security guard and surrounded by teachers and students, the man gave up all futile attempts of resisting arrest. His ridiculous sunglasses were taken off and everyone gasped as they realised that he was the criminal who had escaped a little more than a week ago. In the midst of the confusion, he rested his eyes on me and to everyone's astonishment, tears began to stream down his sunken cheeks.
"Son... My son... Po... I came just to see you," he pleaded with eyes filled with amazement and pure happiness.
The man was being dragged away to the police car which had pulled up outside the school. I was rooted to the spot, stunned. Later in the night, I would hear the story from my mother about how my father had committed petty crimes when I wa sborn as he had lost his job and the newborn would put a greater strain on their financial difficulties. However, one day he was caught red-handed and in desperation, had lashed out at a police officier, injuring him and escaped. Fearing capture, he returned to his house and demanded money from his wife who had refused him. Frustrated and utterly terrified, he had used his newborn child as a tool to threaten his wife. She relented and gave him all she had before collapsing onto the floor, cradling her infant in her arms and sobbing softly. It was not long before the serial offender was caught and put behind bars. She loathed her husband for threatening her baby and to prevent him from ever hurting her child again, she had made sure that I would never meet my father.
I did not understand how this man could have been my father. I shook my head and backed away from him to the dismay of the man. My father held out his hand and reached out to me. his eyes pleading for me to acknowledge him, but I didnt now move an inch. I watched as my father was shoved into the car and itdrove away into the semi-darkness. I knew that I would never see the stranger again.

Last Friday, instead of getting off at my usual stop after ngee ann poly I decided to get off at Sunset way instead and change bus there. But....I happened to forget I had already changed bus and got off at the ngee ann one again!
To top it off, there was this woman on the bus who asked me if this bus goes shell opp bt plaza. Thinkin I was on 74 still, I told her no, it turns. So she got off with me and walked there! It's a rather long distance for one bus stop too.(The bus actually does go there, I just thought I was on a different busss.
I got off happily at the bus stop, then a few seconds later went shit.
Oh oh, there was another time I forgot I was on 74 and had to get off and change, so I missed my stop altogether...
