Ahhh I'm being forced to type all these. Amanda's right behind me, watching my every step. I'm under so much pressureeeeee. I'm going to talk about today's activity with Achoo :D
She came over 48minutes late this morning, at 11.48am. 48 minutes!! I waited for such a long time that my stomach started grumbling~ So she had to wait till I finished my bakua sandwich! P.S. bakua sandwiches are awesome.
We swam for abit, played around in the babypool, stole a random ball and started practicing our pro water polo skills. Mmm... we actually did much more than that just that my brain isn't functioning now due to the chlorine... *Yawn* We probably spent 2 hours or so in the pool before heading to the showers. It was then that I realised the amount of shampoo and soap that I brought with me wasn't enough for the both of us. So we had to scringe on them during our shower. So sad... =(
I'm really sleepy now. We might practice our pro pool (as in pool table) techniques later. See ya!
Amanda here: Heidy wasn't ready anyway. She was eating her breakfast. And when I arrived she was like "Now ah? U wanna go now ah?"

Would you rather be a millionaire in a world full of billionaires, or a thousandaire in a world full of poor people.
Score 90 in an exam where everyone else scores 100 or get 60 when the rest fails.
Often we aren't happy unless we're better off than others. But then that means we aren't contented with what we have. We should be happy coz we appreciate what we have rather than what others don't have.

Tests
On the bus home from school, ended a bio test not long ago that started at 4! When we came out it was dark, haha. It was ok I guess, just tedious.
Last week we had another bio test, but different mod, and was quite funny. I guessed 2 right for the mcq. One was which statement is false. A,b,c,d,e. Then later I realized c and e were the "polysaccharide sth coat alone can kill the mice" and "polysaccharide sth coat alone can't kill the mice". Means it has to be one of them! Haha. And another was about cuvettes and light absorption. The answers were sth like
100
0.1
1
1x10^-3
10
So I looked at the question and it had 1 value that was in m and another that was in µm, so I guessed it would be an answer that had 10^-6 difference, so either 100 or 1x10^-3 and I guessed right! Wahoo. haha.

Good ol School
I went back to JC ytd for fun, to study. Haha. And thenn I used the canteen toilet where "The Incident" occurred. And it's the dirtiest stinkiest toilet in schooool. Why that one and not the cleaner toilets. Haha. I also realized I've started to forget the names of the blocks and stuff. It takes a while to recall the concourse, and I forgot the STI and Oldham Wing. Lol. I miss school.
A black cat crossed my path just now while in the car, and on Halloween too! Gasp. Haha. I first learnt that black cats crossing your path are bad omens to some people from Archie comics, along with breaking a mirror and walking under a ladder.
Today was the second time we went for the Chinese Service. The first time was coz we were kinda late and the chinese service starts 15 mins later (:
Today was because we wanted to listen to a particular pastor preach in chinese, just out of curiosity. Turns out he spoke in english and there was a translator! Haha.

Meow
Hiya peeps! I'm back after a long hiatus. My tagboard has been contaminated, lol.
I was at this place where there's always 1 stray cat. I play with him and he's nice and friendly. One day there was another cat! And it had a collar on, so I thought it would be a nice tame kitty kat. But it bitt mee! haha. So ironical. So I went to play with the stray cat again. Haha. '

Men & Women
Whenever I buy pads and fork out 10 bucks for a double pack or sth, I would think it's so much cheaper to be a guy. And then yesterday I realised they they don't have to buy bras too which is a lot more than 10 bucks each. I mean of course I always knew guys don't have to wear bras, but I was thinking that you know in relationships there seems to exist the dilemma as to whether guys should pay or go dutch, and I realised the money they use to pay for girls' food or tickets is offset by bra and pad cost! So in otherwords, as girls have to incur extra expenses guys should help ease the burden! Hehe.
Okay, I'm not serious, I do not advocate the above explanation. Just felt like updating blog.

Bookworm time
Ellooo. A'levels are over! So's prom and sleepover. Which were nice (:
I spent the last weekend reading harry potter book 6 and 7. And why does everyone have to die!! Oh my goodness, like so many so many. Makes me feel sad ):
Okay, I'm gonna recommend a book for those who wanna read sth during this long break.
Amanda's favourite pick: The Year of our War by Steph Swainston. It's a trilogy and this is the 1st book so yup, not that it's better than the other 2. It's a fantasy, where this guy can like fly and belongs to this Circle of warriors fighting against big monster Insects. Reallyy it's nice! You can read a chapter here www.stephswainston.co.uk/the_books right at the bottom of the page.
So Tang, the lost co-blog owner, and myself have embarked on a long and perilous journey in the form of Diablo II again. That's about it really, haven't done much since exams ended.. mm.

Tetris Mania
A LEVELSS! Wheee.
Ok, A levels has forced me to find reprieve, and so I sought it and found it in my brother's old gameboy colour ( my cool gold gameboy died ): ). My game of choice is TETRIS! Haha, over the weekend I played it in my room, living room, on top of my brother's double decker bed, downstairs at the landing and in the car. For hours. Dots. I think I've improved (:, I am not(oops typo, i meant now*) the ultimate tetris master. Wahaha. Though I'll probably lose the valuable skill soon after A levels when I stop playing.
Prom, Yc and I had a msn convo the other day about what to wear to prom and I quite enjoyed it. His suggested attire for me:
-school uniform
-funky tie
-wig
Proposed attire for him:
-Bandanna
-Sunglasses
-Leather Jacket
-Beard
He showed me a really gay photo too of the bandanna he had in mind, which I'll include after i get it again.
If you're reading this, you should be studying!

Food forThought? No kidding.
Freshly baked round of focaccia(some kind of bread), bottles of olive oil and balsamic vinegar. cheeses: Camembert, Gouda, blue, Iranian goat. Next, steaming wraps that looked like crepes but had a most bawdy smell. Gorgonzola pancakes. There were cantaloupe balls wrapped in thin slices of prosciutto, the fruity orange peaking through the meaty pink. Bastardly plump green olives, fat with red pimiento stuffing, lounged contentedly in a yellow bowl. A plateful of tomatoes soaked in black vinegar with snoy nuggets of brocconcini. Sheaves of Pita and cups brimming with hummus and tzatziki. Oysters, crabs and scallops drowning a wonderful death in a marinara ocean; little wedges of lemon balanced on the plate's edge like life preservers waiting to be thrown in. Pork sausages with peppercorn rims. Dolmathes, trying hard to be swarthy and macho in their little green suits, scented with red wine. Thick rings of calamari. Souvlaki shared skewers with think buttered onions and braised peppers. There was a shoulder of lamb so well cooked it fell apart if you only looked at it while thinking about a fork, surrounded by a happy little family of roast potatoes.

Korean
Love triangles suck. Because even if 2 people are happy the last one is frigging sad! I feel so sad when I watch korean movies because I see both guys or both girls so sad over the one guy/girl! Then I dunno who to side with! And then I hate the way they totally walk by each other but don't see each other, like so close but yet so far! Korean movies make everyone sadd and feel like crying o; So why then do I occasionally watch them? Romantic or sadist?
